Pioneering Classroom Research
iceni's educational media department deliver a groundbreaking research project examining the uptake in UK schools of Learner Response systems. REVEAL is packed with over an hour of case studies, real-life classroom practice, trial software, lesson plans, downloads, and research into this exciting 21st Century classroom technology.
The project marks the culmination of 2 years work by the Midlands Leadership Centre and the University of Wolverhampton.
Rebecca Hardy, Head of Educational Media at iceni said 'The DVD is a brilliant tool kit for teachers and educational practitioners working with any age group or ability level. It not only demonstrates the benefits the technology brings but also explores the challenges of these systems through the eyes of teachers, pupils and LA advisors'.
Diana Bannister MBE, the MLC's Development Director for Learning Technologies, added 'iceni have helped us take our ideas from concept to reality, making every effort to understand and achieve our intended outcomes. I am highly delighted with both the finished product and the commitment iceni showed to us throughout the making of the DVD for the REVEAL Project.'
Sir Geoff Hampton, director of the Education Partnerships at Wolverhampton University has presented footage from the programme to audiences as far a field as New Zealand.
The DVD toolkit will be distributed to Schools and educational organisations across the UK, with future versions for distribution across Europe and the USA.
