Angel Trains HD Film Launched

the brief:
Create a short corporate image film for Angel Trains, a leading lessor of rolling stock in the UK and across Europe. Script, shoot, edit and deliver in multiple languages in 4 weeks.
The short film had to be suitable for large events and industry exhibitions, getting the message across where audio wasn't possible.
the story:
The film begins with an African proverb
'Much travelling teaches how to see'
The proverb describes the wisdom gained by the seasoned traveller, and in the case of Angel Trains, the experienced engineer. The company employs a large percentage of professional engineers, combining years of experience in the rail industry with a strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit. It's this skilled team that look for innovative solutions, seeing things differently, setting them apart from the competition.
Director of Photography Dave Hoare filmed the project on the Panasonic Varicam, a high end, High Definition 'Movie' camera. The look and feel of HD progressive video running at film speeds adds an almost nostalgic feel to the finished programme.
the delivery:
The programme was commissioned and delivered in 4 weeks. iceni's investment in HD and SD Avid post production suites allowed quick turnaround of broadcast tape versions of the project with both NTSC and PAL DVD versions for delivery worldwide.
An Italian translation premiered at Bombardier's Traxx event in Italy. In Munich, a German version of the film went on display to over 47,000 visitors at the 2007 Transport Logistic event, the 11th International Trade Fair for Logistics, Telematics and Transport.
The Head of Corporate Communications said, 'The team at iceni delivered a beautiful film to us in a short space of time. When we saw the first cut of our corporate video we all felt quite emotional. It summed up what we do as a business and what sets us apart from our competitors. Language versions and tape formats were quickly provided to locations across Europe. iceni gave us exactly what we asked for - a creative and professional job done well and delivered on time.'
